Come and Meet Medway Community Safety Unit at the Medway Culture Club Carnival 2026! 🎶🎭

Medway Community Safety Unit is delighted to be attending the Medway Culture Club Carnival 2026 on Saturday 8th August 2026, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at the Royal Engineers Museum, Gillingham. This free family-friendly event celebrates the diversity, cultures and communities that make Medway such a vibrant place to live.

Medway Culture Club does fantastic work bringing people together through culture, education and community engagement. The organisation promotes diversity, inclusion and understanding between communities, creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to connect, learn from one another and celebrate their shared values.

The Carnival draws inspiration from the traditions of the Notting Hill Carnival and offers a fantastic programme of activities including live entertainment, steel pan performances, drumming workshops, samba dancing, carnival costumes, arts and crafts, food stalls, games and much more. 

Free entry to the Royal Engineers Museum is also included throughout the day.

Community Safety Officers will be attending throughout the event and would love to meet residents, answer questions, discuss local concerns and provide community safety and crime prevention advice. Events such as this are a brilliant opportunity to strengthen community cohesion, build positive relationships and celebrate the rich diversity that exists across Medway. [medwaycult...club.co.uk]
