Crime Prevention Message – Theft from Motor Vehicle

Dear Residents,

We would like to make you aware that a theft from a motor vehicle was reported last week on Brereton Road N17.

Please take a few moments to secure your vehicle and remove any valuables from sight. Items such as bags, phones, laptops, tools, wallets, and loose change can attract thieves, even if left in a vehicle for a short period.

To help reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime, please remember to:

Always lock your vehicle and ensure all windows are fully closed.

Remove valuables and personal belongings or keep them out of sight.

Do not leave keys inside the vehicle.

Park in well-lit areas where possible.

Report any suspicious activity to the police.

If you witness a crime in progress or see suspicious individuals acting around vehicles, please call 999. For non-emergency incidents or to provide information, please contact 101 or report online via the Metropolitan Police website.
