Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hello residents of Pedmore,

Your local Neighbourhood officers were involved with the Stourbridge carnival having a high presence in the town engaging with as many people as possible. This is important because it provides reassurance to the public, it gives people an opportunity to report things to us that can help our intelligence building and advise people with the best course of action. 

We have had positive engagement with local youths causing Anti Social Behaviour on the Queensway whilst on foot patrol, whereby officers have spoken to youths and given strong words of advice and explained the consequences of their actions if their behaviour continues.

Details: an opportunity for residents to come and speak with the local PCSOs about any concerns they may have, PLEASE CALL 999 In an emergency, for any non urgent issues please feel free to come to the surgery to speak to a PCSO  

🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨

2x Attempted residential burglaries at locations being, Redlake Drive, and Lightwood Road. If you have any information or evidence please call 101 with the information you may have. 

1x Theft of motor Vehicle at Hob Green Road 

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

As seen above there have been issues with burglaries and theft of motor vehicles. 

. Please lock your door at night, lock your vehicles 

. if you have a keyless car get yourself a Faraday pouch as it acts like a mini vault for your key, stopping the signal from the key reaching the car for criminals to manipulate and steal your car. 

. CCTV is your best friend, if you don't have CCTV it is highly recommended that you get yourself, for example, a ring door bell camera  that can see your car and entrance to your home. 

. Steering wheel locks is another layer of defence for your vehicle making it even more difficulty for your vehicle to be stolen 

Officers will continue to conduct patrols around Pedmore due to the attempted burglaries and theft of vehicle. We have different departments that work hard to try and stop the offenders, but also provide support to victims.
