Theft from motor vehicle

The Nedge Safer Neighbourhood Team are advising residents in the Stirchley area to be vigilant and ensure their vehicles are secure. This is following theft from an insecure car whereby items were stolen from the boot. 

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property - 

  🔒 Always lock your vehicle, even if it’s parked on your driveway.

  🎒 Remove valuables from view or, better still, take them with you.

  🔑 Never leave keys or spare keys inside your vehicle.

  📹 If you have CCTV or doorbell footage of suspicious activity, please report it to police.

We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 or via the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk if you need to report crime.
