Students learning about Police

Dear resident, 

Officers have been attending various schools and speaking to Year 6 students at Scargill Junior School, La Salette Primary School in Rainham and Whybridge Junior School in Rainham. 

Students were presented with certificates by Inspector Mark Connolly, and Chief Inspector Richard Vale for working with police on a variety of subjects during their time in year 6. 

Students learned about the role of police, age of criminal responsibility, online safety, knife crime and keeping safe.

CYP for Rainham, PC Drew Heath said ‘Students were fantastic, not only have they learned a lot about a variety of subjects, but this builds trust amongst our future communities’.
