On 9 July 2026, officers carried out a drugs warrant in Norton as part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related activity and associated crime within the community.

The warrant resulted in significant disruption to those suspected of being involved in criminality and demonstrates our commitment to taking positive action in response to information received from local residents and partner agencies.

We would like to reassure the public that police will continue to monitor the area, carrying out patrols and acting on intelligence to help keep Norton a safe place to live and work.
