Theft From Motor Vehicles

Good afternoon, 

Cardiff Bay Neighbourhood Policing Team are continuing receiving reports of persons having their valuables stolen from their vehicles. Leaving valuable items on display within vehicles will attract unwanted attention. Offenders may then attempt to gain entry into the vehicle with any means possible (causing damage) to take items. This has and likely to cause alarm and distress to victims. 

We have received reports of wallets, bags and purses being stolen where the offenders have then attempted to use the victims bank cards purchasing goods.   

We are advising local residents and visitors to the Bay not leave any valuable items on display or within your vehicles.
