Parking on the Lambeg Road/ Station Road, Lisburn

We are currently liaising with the Department of Infrastructure and other partner agencies about what can be done to ease congestion and parking issues on the Lambeg Road. This is ongoing and will likely take some time.

We will continue to patrol these areas and where vehicles are parking within 15 metres of a junction or causing an obstruction to the footpath/road, we will seek to engage , explain, educate and then enforce by way of issuing a £30 fine.

We do not have powers to issue tickets to vehicles parked on double yellow lines, this is a decimalised matter and would be for the Department of Infrastructure to deal with, unless of course they are parked in a manner that caused a danger/obstruction to other road users.
