Water Safety Day Burton Farm Cafe Burton Hastings Saturday 25th July

It’s been a scorcher and the warm weather may be here to stay for now, but please don't let a split-second decision ruin your summer.

This week, we've had multiple calls into our control room reporting people jumping into rivers, and our officers have been out and about patrolling locations where we know this is happening.

You may have seen but we’re holding a free family-friendly water safety event on Saturday 25 July at Burton Hastings Farm (details on the poster below) where you can watch water safety demonstrations from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, learn how to use a throwline in an emergency and discover simple actions that could save a life.

You’ll also be able to meet some of our officers, local firefighters, paramedics and community safety teams, as well as getting tips on how to stay safe around open water this summer.
