A weekly round up of events |

📍 Southfield Ward Update This week, officers have continued to be highly visible across the ward, delivering a range of proactive policing activity to keep our communities safe and informed.
We were pleased to conduct a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) engagement event in Central Acton, providing an opportunity to speak with residents, share crime prevention advice, and listen to local concerns. Alongside this, we hosted a very successful bike marking event at Southfield Recreation Ground, helping cyclists protect their property and reduce the risk of theft.
Officers have carried out multiple high-visibility patrols throughout the ward. Acting on intelligence received regarding suspected drug use in Southfield Recreation Ground, officers conducted targeted patrols and carried out several stop searches as part of our ongoing efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity. Our patrols have also included Acton Green Common, with officers maintaining a reassuring presence and engaging with members of the public to reinforce community confidence. In addition, officers have been progressing arrest enquiries for prolific shoplifters, supporting one of our top ward priorities around Tesco The Vale. This work has been complemented by increased officer visibility in the area, helping to deter offending and provide reassurance to local businesses and residents alike. Thank you to everyone who continues to provide information and engage with us. Your intelligence and support play a vital role in helping us keep Acton safe. 🚔💙 | ||
