Appeal following serious assault in Exeter

We are appealing for witnesses and any relevant footage following a serious assault in Exeter.

Officers were called at around 9pm on Sunday 12 July following a report of man being assaulted at a property on Guinness Lane, Exeter.

It was reported that the man, in his 50s, had sustained stab wounds and fallen from a window at height.

Enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances of the incident.

The victim sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
