Appeal for information launched after man has phone stolen in Derby

We are appealing for information after a man was robbed of his mobile phone in Derby.

The incident happened underneath the Pride Parkway bridge next to the Steve Bloomer mural between 12.30pm and 2.50pm on Friday 10 July.

The victim, a 46-year-old man, was walking on a footpath towards Derby when the suspect approached him and snatched his mobile phone before running off in the direction of The Roundhouse College.

The suspect is described as a Black man with braided black hair that comes down past his ears.

He was wearing a black jacket and trousers, black backpack and had white trainers with stripes on.
