❌ Not allowed on roads

❌ Not allowed on pavements

❌ Not allowed in cycle lanes

❌ Not allowed in parks or other public spaces

If you ride a privately owned e-scooter in public, you may:

💷 Receive a fine

🚗 Get penalty points on your driving licence

🚔 Have your e-scooter seized by police. [gov.uk]

✅ Approved rental e-scooters can be used on roads and cycle lanes where trial schemes operate.

❌ They must not be ridden on pavements or motorways. [gov.uk]
