📣 Wantage & Grove NHPT 📣 The results of the Community Survey 2026 are in... and the people have spoken! Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. Your feedback helps us focus on the issues that matter most to our communities. Based on your responses, the Top 3 Priorities for the Wantage & Grove Neighbourhood Policing Team are: 🥇 Drugs 🥈 Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) 🥉 Speeding / E-Scooters / Bikes We're not quite sure whether you're enjoying our recent success in taking county lines dealers off the streets, or our engaging social media posts about it... but either way, we like it! 😎 🥇 Drugs We will continue targeting those supplying drugs in our communities. Whilst we understand that when one dealer is removed another often attempts to take their place, we must continue disrupting the supply and making it as difficult as possible for organised criminals to operate here. Over the coming months, we will also be conducting random plain-clothes operations, attending licensed premises with drugs dogs, and carrying out drug-swabbing operations where appropriate. We will tackle all aspects of drug misuse and supply to prevent further harm to our communities. 🥈 Anti-Social Behaviour We will continue our successful Wantage Mentoring Scheme and work alongside SOFEA to identify and address the root causes of ASB, referring young people where appropriate to help divert them away from offending. Alongside this, we will continue using our ASB powers. Their use has increased significantly in recent months and has coincided with a reduction in offending behaviour. We will continue taking action against those who negatively impact our communities. 🥉 Speeding / E-Scooters / Bikes We will continue working with parish councils to support the creation of Community Speedwatch groups across the area and, where operationally possible, accompany them during days of action. We will also continue to seize illegal e-bikes and e-scooters, ensuring they are removed from our streets and disposed of appropriately. 🚔 These priorities have come directly from you and will shape our neighbourhood policing activity throughout the year. Thank you for helping us keep Wantage and Grove safe.
