A Quick Note from PCSO John White on his retirement after 25 Years with South Wales Police 🚨

To all the residents and friends in the community of Morriston and surrounding area of Swansea. Tomorrow, 15th July will be my last shift in uniform. 

​After 25 years on the beat, with 21 of them mostly of it spent on Woodfield Street Morriston, the time has come for me to officially hang up the uniform and retire.

​I wanted to take a moment to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone here. Policing is entirely about teamwork, and I could not have done this job without your trust, support, and my colleagues from Morriston Neighbourhood Policing team over the last two and a half decades.

​From the crucial local tips that helped keep our neighbourhood safe, to the friendly chats and hot cups of tea on freezing winter shifts, you have made my time as your local officer an absolute privilege.

​It has been an honour to serve you, to work alongside you, and to watch families grow and our community thrive. I’m leaving the shift in great hands with my colleagues, but I will miss the daily interactions more than words can say.

​Thank you all for a wonderful 25 years. I’ll see you around the neighbourhood—this time out of uniform!
