Roofing scam

Staffordshire police have been made aware of a possible scam where an elderly lady has been called upon in the Loggerheads area and given an estimate for a roof repair of £10,000 and the caller stating that she will get £8,000 back after completion.

This is almost certainly a scam and we are urging residents in the area to be vigilant of any such calls .
