Appeal following assault

Do you recognise this man?

We would like to speak to him after a man was injured in an assault in Stoke-on-Trent.

We were called at 11.50pm on Saturday 30 May to the smoking area a pub off Market Place, Burslem, following reports of an assault.

A man had punched another man in the face, knocking him unconscious.

The victim suffered a broken collarbone and a facial injury in the assault, which required hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, of a medium build, with dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black baseball cap, white t-shirt and black shorts with navy running style trainers which had white soles.

We are keen to identify the man pictured in connection with the incident.
