City Centre Action

Your Street Engagement Team (SET) Officers continue to patrol and respond to incidents within Manchester City Centre

Across Manchester, we’re working with partners to support victims, reduce harm, and keep our communities safe.

SET carries out proactive patrols alongside Manchester City Council Rough Sleepers Team and ASBAT.

Throughout this week, we have:

✅ Arrested 6 wanted people, including two who were wanted by different Police forces and one who was recalled to prison due to poor behaviour whilst on licence
✅ Responded to reports of ASB caused by homeless that affects local business and are currently investigating criminal damage
✅ Continued patrols in key areas with other agencies such as the council Antisocial Behaviour Action Team (ASBAT). By engaging with partners we are building civil protection cases against people who consistently engage in antisocial behaviour.
