Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to Report Burglary Other At 11.51pm on Friday 10 July at Poets Close, Hucknall, two young males broke into a shed used for storing football and bowling equipment at the sports club at the back of the street and then kicked balls about. Theft of motor vehicle A report at 3.08pm on Friday 10 July that in Nottingham Road, Hucknall, a white Volkswagen estate was stolen. Between 2.00pm on Saturday 11 and 1.00pm on Sunday 12 July in Abbots Drive, Hucknall, a black Mercedes GL420 CDI, parked at the roadside, was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to Report Violence against person At 7.00pm on Friday 10 July, near Titchfield Park Lodge, Park Drive, Hucknall, a caller reported being threatened by a white male, mid 30’s, 6-00”, fairly blonde hair in a buzz cut, very slim build, wearing a grey jacket open with no shirt and grey shorts. He approached the caller screaming and asking to borrow a phone, which was refused. He then went to some bushes and picked something up which he held behind his back and returned saying he was going to open the caller up. Criminal Damage Between 8.30pm on Friday 10 and 8.30am on Saturday 11 July in Wollaton Street, Hucknall, the drivers side window of a red Vauxhall Grandland was smashed. At 1.57pm on Tuesday 14 July in Storth Avenue, Hucknall, a male smashed a window. ASB Between 5.00pm and 5.20pm on Saturday 11 July in High Street, Hucknall, a report of a homeless male being harassed by a group of youths on bikes, being rude and abusive. This was taking place opposite Greggs. They were described as four white and one mixed race. Two were wearing bright pink t-shirts. At 7.38pm on Friday 10 July at Leen Valley Golf Course, Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, a report of 12/15 teenagers being a nuisance, smashing things up and taking flags away. There had been ongoing issues in the area every night for the past two weeks, usually near the 7th green. Around 6.12am on Tuesday 14 July in Dale Close, Hucknall, a milk delivery driver was chased by two youths, wearing face masks and dark clothing and riding e-bikes, as he made deliveries in the area. They tried blocking him which almost caused a crash.
