Today, PCSOs Spittle and Holmes had the pleasure of visiting the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre for their South Asian Memory Café session. The group enjoyed a thoughtful discussion about life's journey, sharing memories and experiences before taking part in a relaxing drawing activity. PCSO Spittle also impressed everyone by showcasing his fantastic art skills, with participants enjoying the opportunity to get creative together. With the current warm weather, we'd also like to remind everyone to take extra care, especially those living with dementia. Here are a few simple tips to stay safe: Keep hydrated – Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Stay cool – Wear lightweight clothing and, if possible, remain in the shade or indoors during the hottest part of the day Protect your skin – Apply sunscreen and wear a hat when outdoors. Look out for one another – Family, friends and neighbours are encouraged to check in regularly on anyone living with dementia, as they may not always recognise when they are becoming too hot or dehydrated.
