✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

This week the team have been very busy on each locality.    Increased calls once again during the world cup games.

Brownhills Ward

Ongoing ASB patrols along High Street Brownhills and the Avenues due to kids causing criminal damage & being a general nuisance.   Another police surgery took place this evening to speak to residents.

Some further visits have been conducted this week to parents houses and ASB Warning letters issued.  Ongoing CCTV enquiries to ID unknown offenders.    Its now the 6 weeks holiday, officers will be out and about at these problematic locations to deter any further ASB.  Any child that has already been issued with an ASB Warning letter will be taken home to their parents address.  

A male was searched under Section 23 of the misuse of drugs Act  in Brownhills , Holland Park. 

An black moped with a small number place has been seen numerous times along Brownhills High Street that was involved in a hit & run in Walsall Wood and a separate incident involving a female whereby he threw a drink over her around Holland Park.  This bike has been making off from officers and has been causing issues in and around Walsall Wood and Brownhills. 

Officers have been making CCTV enquiries at Morrisons Daily, Brownhills West due to increased shoplifting in the locality.

Pelsall Ward

An increase of off rd bikes have been reported to us this week.  Please if anyone knows any information where these bikes are being stored can you please contact 101 or via our webchat.  

Officers have been patrolling along High Street and McClean Way.

Rushall Shelfield Ward

Officers have been patrolling the area of Rushall Skate Park and Manor Farm Community Centre.  

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

Just to reinforce closing your windows before you leave your home and do NOT leave unattended vehicles with open windows as tempting as it is during the heatwave!  

Please also beware of Bogus door to door salesmen - if you know of anyone who's vulnerable please get in touch we do have a supply of door chains we can provide.
