🚔👮‍♀️ Braunstone & Rowley Fields Beat Team Update 👮‍♂️🚔

It has been another busy day for the team out on the beat!

✅ PCs Chelsea, George and Paige carried out a number of cuckooing visits to vulnerable residents across the area, helping to safeguard those at risk and provide reassurance and support. The team also conducted multiple hotspot patrols in key locations to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.

✅ PCSOs Julie and Beth attended a neighbour dispute on Narborough Road, offering advice and support to those involved.

✅ PCSOs Julie and Beth were then joined by PS Craig Turner and colleagues from Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) at Braunstone Park as part of Operation Habitual.

🔥 Operation Habitual is a joint initiative between Leicestershire Police and Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service aimed at reducing deliberate fires, anti-social behaviour and associated community harm during the summer months.

The operation focuses on: 

🔹 Visible engagement and reassurance patrols
🔹 Prevention and early intervention
🔹 Identifying hotspot locations and problem individuals
🔹 Gathering intelligence from local communities
🔹 Working in partnership to prevent incidents before they occur
🔹 Proactively responding to any increase in arson-related incidents
