MAN CHARGED WITH DRUGS OFFENCES

A man has been charged with drug offences after officers found cocaine, cannabis and two mobile phones in Tamworth.

Mark Lawrence, 39, from Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine) and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).

It comes after officers from our major and crime proactive team stopped a car in Tamworth on Monday 26 February.

Lawrence is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on Monday 17 August.
