Crime Alert - Theft from a Vehicle

Dear Resident,

We have received several reports of males walking up and down driveways in the area where you live. This is happening between 5pm and 2am. They appear to be looking for vehicle insecurities. The males are aged between 14 and 18.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being broken into, please read through the below advice -

Keep the vehicle locked at all times, and ensure you double lock it.

Make sure that your vehicle alarm is set.

Do not leave any valuables or "interesting" items on display

Don't leave tools in a van over night.

If possible park your vehicle on a drive or as close to your home as possible.

When away from Home Park in a busy, well overlooked area. If the car will be there after dark try to find somewhere illuminated
