Road closures from the 25th of July

Redevelopment of the former Radlett Aerodrome: SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett 

Please find below the latest update on the ongoing works

Subject: S278 Road Works: 

Park Street Roundabout

Following discussions with the Highways Authorities, the A5183 Watling Street North exit from the Park Street Roundabout will be closed full‑time, day and night, for approximately 4–5 weeks. This closure will begin on 25 July 2026, aligned with the main school holidays to expedite the works, reduce the number of night‑time operations, and minimise overall disruption.

Diversion routes will be in place, supported by appropriate signage across the network.

In advance of this, there will be night‑time closures on 24, 25 and 26 July 2026 on the north side of the Park Street Roundabout. (see diagram below) These closures are required to complete drainage works across the carriageways and to install the traffic management associated with the A5183 Watling Street North exit closure.

These night‑time closures 8.00pm to 6.00am will include:
