Mobile Theft Snatches

Dear residents,

Since the start month we have seen a slight increase in mobile theft snatches in the area of Homerton High Street and Brooksby’s Walk E9.

The team are doing their upmost to capture these individuals responsible.

Please help us in reducing the chances of falling victim to this crime by keeping your mobile phones and valuables out of sight, when out & about.

If you’re using your phone it’s more likely to be snatched from your hand as you’re not paying attention to your surroundings, so look around you, be vigilant.

Be aware of individuals riding bikes/e-bikes towards you at high speeds, these individuals are mainly in dark clothing and are always wearing face masks to conceal their identity.

Your personal data may be at risk. It's important you act fast.

Report the crime to us as soon as you can.
