Nuisance motorbike (s) - Hackwood Estate, Mickleover |

Good afternoon,
This afternoon, 21st July 2026, we received several reports of a single, and potentially a second, nuisance motorbike being driven around the Hackwood Estate, Mickleover in an erratic manner; driving on footpaths, doing wheelies along the road and circuits of the roads.
The vehicle was described as a mini scrambler, or mini crosserbike, in black. The rider(s) were said to be aged around 16 years old, wearing all black and with balaclavas and hoods covering their faces. It is believed they were also in the area last night around 20:00- 21:00, although this doesn't appear to have been reported at the time.
Officers will be conducting patrols in the area, and others frequented by these bikes in Mickleover with a view to stopping, identifying and seizing these vehicles.
