🏍️ Donington Bikers – Please Be Vigilant 🏍️

As I mentioned in one of my posts last week, I am committed to tackling motorcycle theft head-on, and this week has unfortunately shown just how important that work is.

Over the past week, we've had motorcycles stolen in Castle Donington, along with one attempted theft.

That said, I've spent the last few days working hard to gather evidence and review CCTV opportunities in an effort to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.

There is, however, a positive story to come from the attempted theft. The bike was only saved thanks to the vigilance of staff at local businesses, who advised the owner to secure their motorcycle with a disc lock.

This is exactly the kind of community spirit I spoke about last week, and I want to sincerely thank everyone who plays their part in looking out for one another. 

In this instance, a simple intervention prevented a motorcycle from being stolen.
