||
|
A man has been charged after officers from our major and organised crime team seized around one kilo of cocaine worth an estimated £100,000. Taulant Domi, 29, from Birmingham, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possessing criminal property, possessing counterfeit currency, three counts of possessing an article for use in fraud and breaching a deportation order. It comes after officers investigating drug supply in Tamworth searched an address in Birmingham on Monday (20 July). Domi is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 22 July). Through Operation Target we have been working hard to identify, disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation. If you have any concerns around drug-related activity in your community, contact us by calling 101, or via Live Chat on our website. Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
