I hope you are well, apologies for an email a day earlier than expected but I am not in the office tomorrow and I didn’t want you all to have to wait until Monday to hear your update. Let’s Begin.
Meet Engage/NHW Below is a message from one of our favourite PCSO’s in the borough explaining why you should sign up to Met Engage. It is a great service but needs signup. It will also link you to the NHW alert system which we are using more and more. At the very least just have a look! Good morning In Merton, we are trying to expand this platform to as many of our residents we possibly can, so that all our communities get the bespoke content directly from their personal team. But signing everyone up is a lengthy process with over 87,810 homes and 11,035 business to speak to! Have you got a street WhatsApp Group? Or a friends and family group? We'd love for you to send a message through to them for us, as it would greatly help us get our local information out to as many people as we can. Also, if you have someone that is not computer able, please reply to this message and we can assist you with details on how we can get emails and content through to them. Pocket Parks Merton have launched a survey for pocket parks. We promised to tackle fly-tipping by installing even more pocket parks across the borough, and we want you to tell us where they should go. Pocket parks transform previously unused pockets of public land into vibrant spaces that brighten up neighbourhoods, provide residents with a new space to unwind and prevent fly-tipping. You can tell us where you think our new pocket parks should be by filling out our new survey. Find out more about how you can suggest a location

Repair Café This Saturday the Repair Café will be open for business at St Marks Church Hall, Compton Road Wimbledon between 10:30am and 12:30pm. If you have any electrical item you would rather fix and not throw away then feel free to pop down. Having worked with the volunteers before it’s a great place to save items going to landfill.
