VEHICLE CRIME INCIDENTS

Your local Radford Police team are asking local residents in Radford and Keresley to be vigilant when securing their homes and vehicles.

We have had reports of suspicious activity around cars in this area including the theft of plastic caps from car wheels.

Before you settle in for the night, be sure to double check your vehicle is locked and parked in a safe location.

If you have CCTV or a video doorbell, make sure this is working and charged. Officers are currently trawling CCTV and gathering intelligence to get a better understanding of when, where, and how these thefts are happening. 

Sgt Richard Owen, who helps coordinate our neighbourhood teams in the South North-West of the city, said: "We are committed to tackling this worrying and intrusive crime, but we need your help. We are asking that all residents in the Radford and Keresley share any information or CCTV footage they might have with us that shows suspicious activity around vehicles. 

"We have an upcoming community meeting at Coundon Social Club on Wednesday 29 July at 6:30 pm. We urge anyone who has concerns, questions, or would like to provide information to attend this meeting."
