Seized Moped in Chelsfield ward

On Thursday 24 July, PCSO Pav Sandhu was on patrol with colleagues in Cloonmore Avenue, Chelsfield Ward, when officers observed a moped rider who appeared to be attempting to avoid police.

The rider was stopped and spoken to by officers. Checks revealed that he had previously been dealt with for riding without insurance. Further enquiries established that, on this occasion, he was again riding without the appropriate insurance cover.

As a result, the moped was seized by police and appropriate action was taken.
