Join Us Tonight for a Walk and Talk Patrol – Working Together to Tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) at Westcombe Park Train station, Station Crescent SE3 7EQ – 8PM Tonight, your local neighbourhood policing team is inviting residents to join us for a Walk and Talk patrol focused on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and community safety. We know that feeling safe in our neighbourhoods is important for everyone. Walk and Talks provide an opportunity for residents to accompany officers and PCSOs through local areas, highlighting locations where they may feel vulnerable, unsafe, or concerned about anti-social behaviour, poor lighting, isolated footpaths, or other environmental issues that can impact personal safety. This is your chance to speak directly with your local policing team, share your experiences, and help us identify areas where improvements can be made. Your feedback plays a vital role in shaping future patrols, problem-solving initiatives, and partnership work aimed at making our communities safer for women and girls. Why Attend? Violence Against Women and Girls remains a national policing priority, and community engagement is a key part of tackling the issues that affect people's daily lives. By walking the neighbourhood together, we can better understand local concerns and identify practical solutions. Whether you have specific concerns or simply want to support the initiative, we would love to see you there. | ||
