Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team were out and about conducting patrols yesterday afternoon and into the late evening following recent reports of Ant-Social Behaviour last week in Bradwell and recently in Tideswell involving fires being started.
This sort of behaviour in the current climate with the land being so dry, the dangers of a fire spreading as you can understand, can be quite serious.
We encourage the community to be vigilant and of course speak to the younger community where possible around the dangers of starting fires and what can easily happen with quickly.
