Update

This week, officers from Whalebone Safer Neighbourhood Team have been carrying out faith visits, engaging with members of the community and offering crime prevention advice, support and reassurance.

We have also been conducting targeted patrols in areas identified as robbery hotspots to help deter criminal activity and provide a visible policing presence.

Officers carried out weapon sweeps in locations where weapons or adapted objects may have been concealed, helping to reduce the risk of violence within the community.

In addition, we have been working alongside London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) officers to help resolve neighbour disputes and improve the quality of life for residents across the ward.
