Project Vigilant at Kisstory and Uptown Festival

This weekend uniformed officers attended and ensured the safe ingress and egress of festival goers from Kisstory and the Uptown Festival at Blackheath. With fantastic weather, a great atmosphere and setting, it was fabulous to see many out enjoying their weekend.

What the public were probably unaware of, was the fact that we have covert officers at part of Project Vigilant that are out and engaging - looking for predatory behaviour that is signalling of Violence against Women and Girls, and also protecting the most vulnerable in our communities. You may not see us, but we are there.

It was a great weekend of activities and music, and also a brilliant place to watch the sunset.
