DRINK DRIVER ARRESTED

On Monday 20th July at around 16:50 we received a report of a female seen drinking a bottle of wine who then proceeded to drive off in her car near to Dosthill Park.

Officers attended and stopped the red Mini on Blackwood Road. A roadside breath test was conducted on the driver who blew over the limit.

The 43-year-old female, from Dosthill, was arrested for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.

She has since been released on bail and is due to appear in court next month.
