Unlocked Vehicles Targetted

Over the past week, we have seen an increase in vehicles being tried in the early hours whereby a male is attempting to gain access to unlocked vehicles and taking possession inside. 

Given this elevated risk we strongly advise residents to check their vehicles are locked prior to leaving them unattended.

Further to this, if you notice items taken and/or your vehicle door being insecure, please report this to ourselves via report online or via 101. 

Furthermore, If you have CCTV please can this be checked and any unusual activity, or attempts to enter a vehicle please report this to ourselves via 101 or report online.

This greatly supports our enquiries in tracking this individuals movements and seeking identification.
