Community Walkabout in chapel

 Community Walkabout – Listening to Our Communities 

Last night, the Chapel and Whaley Bridge Safer Neighbourhood Team joined members of Chapel en le frith Parish Council for a community walkabout around Chapel.

 It was a really positive and constructive evening, giving us the opportunity to discuss local concerns, highlight what’s working well, and identify ways we can continue to improve the area together.

 We also had some fantastic engagement with local young people in Chapel Park. It was great to hear their ideas about what they’d like to see in the area and discuss the issues that matter most to them. Their views are incredibly important, and we’re always keen to listen.

 Working closely with our Parish Council and local residents helps us better understand the needs of our community and ensures we’re focusing on the issues that matter most.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us. These community walkabouts are a great way to engage with local people, and we’ll continue to carry them out with our partners in the future.
