Weapon sweep conducted on the car park of Granville House.

Good Afternoon, Everyone

Just for your information, Your local safer neighbourhood team carried out a weapon sweep at the car park of the Granville House sheltered housing complex by Effie Place SW6 on Tuesday 28th July 2026. The weapon sweep concluded without any objects found. We will be carrying out more of these weapon sweeps in the foreseeable future. The purpose of this operation was to see if we could identify and find any hidden illegal objects such as knives and other lethal objects concealed at that specific site. We do encourage our residents to inform police of any suspicious activities such as crime related issues and ASB happening on the ward. Until then, enjoy the rest of the week and stay well hydrated.
