Hodgehill Neighbourhood Team brings you the following updates:
- Officers from the local NHT have arrested an individual in relation to harassment, where further investigation is being conducted in aims of prosecution.
- Officers from the local NHT have also been involved in arresting an individual in relation to a robbery offence, where further investigation is being conducted in aims of prosecution.
- Officers from the local NHT have responded to a police incident in the Shard End area in relation to a knife incident, where emergency first aid was given to the victim before an ambulance arrived to take them to receive medical treatment. Due to the best efforts of the officers involved and and ambulance staff, the individual was able to make a steady recovery.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have carried out two community streetwatch, where members of the public across Hodgehill and Firs Bromford carry out local foot patrols in the area to reassure the local community and provide a visible presence in the area. We got lots of questions from local residents, including how to get involved. If you are interested in joining our local streetwatch groups, please search WMNow and follow the guidance on the website.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have seized 5 vehicles from the Bromford Road Car Park nearby the Community Hub, in relation to no valid road tax. If you see a vehicle that is out of road tax by 2 months and 1 day, please report it via 101 so the local NHT can take the appropriate action and clean up your local communities.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have also been carrying out key proactive patrols in the area of Hodgehill and Bromford, in relation to concerns regarding ASB and general nuisance towards local residents. Local business patrols have also been conducted and offered relevant support in relation to ongoing retail crime and issued crime prevention advice.
