News Appeal following robbery on Marriott's Way

We're appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Norwich.

The incident happened on Friday 24 July 2026 at around 1:50pm on Marriott’s Way, not far from the footbridge over the River Wensum heading towards the city. It was reported that the victim entered the woodland from Wensum Park with the two unknown men, who assaulted him and stole his mobile phone. The victim did not sustain any injuries.

The first man is described as a white male of medium build, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, with brown curly hair and short stubble. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black bottoms and black shoes.

The second man is described as a white male of medium build, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, with slicked-back brown hair. He was wearing a grey shirt and dark bottoms.

Officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident, or has information, to get in touch quoting reference 36/54602/26 via any of the following channels:
