Local crime prevention engagement event, in Victoria

Good day!

On THURSDAY 30th JULY 2026 at around 09:30–11:00am, officers from the Metropolitan Police were alongside partner agencies such as the Westminster City Council (WCC), for a local crime prevention engagement event with members of the public, just by one of the entrances to Victoria Underground Station. ­­­

And at the turn of the event, we were able to collate the following information from it:

• 120 positive engagements with commuters and members of the public.

• 15 positive engagements with businesses.

• 6 engagements with members of the street population, who were advised on available services.

• 1 CAD report attended by police relating to a road traffic collision.

• High-visibility patrols conducted in Cardinal Place, Victoria Street, Christchurch Gardens, Strutton Ground, and Great Peter Street.

Indeed, we are happy to provide these sort of engagements in/around Victoria frequently, so we would like to thank our amiable partners, for being a part of working to deter or reduce crime and/or anti-social behaviour, in London.
