Business Engagement

   On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, officers from the St James’ Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), in partnership with Westminster City Council, visited businesses across Leicester Square to deliver Crime Prevention Advice letters.

 The purpose of the visit was to strengthen engagement with local businesses, provide practical advice on preventing crime, and ensure that business owners and staff know how to quickly contact us if they need assistance or wish to report concerns.

 We would like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us. Working together with our local community is essential in keeping Leicester Square a safe and welcoming place for residents, businesses, workers, and visitors.

 This is just the beginning of an ongoing initiative. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue visiting businesses across the St James’s Ward, aiming to engage with as many businesses as possible, offer crime prevention advice, build stronger relationships, and ensure everyone knows how to contact their local neighbourhood policing team whenever they need support.
