You may be aware of a serious assault that occurred on Preston Road. We understand that incidents of this nature can be concerning for residents, and we would like to reassure the community that an investigation is progressing at pace to establish the full circumstances and identify those responsible.

Throughout the day, officers from your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be conducting high-visibility patrols in and around Preston Road. We will be supporting the investigation, engaging with residents and businesses, and providing reassurance to anyone who may have concerns.
