Fighting Knife Crime

Dear Residents 

On 1ST AUGUST officers on a plain clothed deployment to target knife crime were conducting patrols in the HARROW ROAD area, following a brief foot chase through the LYDFORD estate a male was detained and searched, officers walking the route of the foot chase found a discarded knife as a result the male was arrested. Investigation is ongoing.
