We have some good news to tell you

Dear Residents and Community Members, 

In the last three days, local Safer Neighbourhood Team officers have successfully dealt with a number of shoplifting offences at the Co-operative Store on Westhorne Avenue, SE9. Two males were arrested for shoplifting, subsequently charged, and remanded into custody. Officers recovered over £200 worth of stolen goods. Another male was also caught shoplifting and was issued with a Penalty Notice for Disorder (PND), resulting in a £90 fine.

The SNT will continue to work closely with local businesses to tackle retail crime and ensure offenders are brought to justice.
