As many of you know, Mitsy and Beaver have been busy across our patch, travelling far and wide to help us keep our communities safe.

Last week, however, Beaver had an adventure of his own...
Whilst out on the Ridgeway in pursuit of suspected hare coursers, Beaver suffered a rather dramatic tyre blowout! 💥🛞
In fairness, having road tyres on a 4x4 that's expected to cope with the rough terrain of the Ridgeway was probably never going to end well. The burst tyre certainly put Beaver out of action and left him requiring a little assistance.
Thankfully, our friends at Edgertons came to the rescue and recovered Beaver, although it did mean an unfortunate drive of shame back to the station on the back of a recovery truck! 🚛😳

A huge thank you to the team at Edgertons for getting Beaver home safely. 👏
With the adventures of Mitsy and Beaver gaining a bit of a following, we thought we'd do our bit to help all the parents, grandparents and carers currently trying to navigate the six weeks of summer holidays. We know from personal experience just how challenging it can be keeping little ones entertained for six weeks!
