Dear Resident Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, Willenhall North, and Short Heath this last week. ARRESTS! 1 male arrested for 6 shop lifting offences. 1 male arrested for prison recall. OFFICERS ACTIVTIES! Officers have conducted a Police Surgery at Willenhall Library. Issues raised were off road bikes, neighbour issues and drug dealing. Officers have seized an off-road bike from the New Invention area. The bike was driving dangerously around the area. Please report it via 101 if you see any illegal off-road bikes driving recklessly to being used in an anti-social manner. ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR! We have done a partnership letter drop with the Community protection team from Walsall Council and the local Short Heath Councillor Bella Simon. The letter drop was done in Coltham Road regarding on going ASB. If you are experience ASB please report it via 101 or report it online via the West Midlands Police Website. We have had an increase in ASB calls from Willenhall Town Centre, Willenhall Memorial Park and Gough Street. We will be carrying out joint patrols with Walsall Council Community Protection team. EYES (Engage Youth Empowerment Services) will also be patrolling the areas and engaging with the youths. Sunday 8th August 2026 at The Guru Nanak Gurdwara, 65 – 67 Walsall Road WV13 2RD between 12pm to 1pm. Saturday 1st August 2026 at Willenhall Library, 1 Walsall Street between 10am to 11am. Saturday 5th September 2026 at Willenhall Library, 1 Walsall Street between 10am to 11am. Saturday 5th September 2026 at The Hive, The Square New Invention between 11:30am to 12:30pm. PACT MEETING! The next PACT (Partners & Community Together) meeting will be held on Monday 2nd November 2026 between 6pm - 8pm at Queens Lea Community Centre, Shephard Drive, Willenhall WV12 4JB.
