Just another busy day for the PCSOs from Central NPT West!

Dear Resident,

On Friday 31st July, the PCSOs carried out speed checks on roads in the Lupset / Thornes area following recent reports of vehicles speeding, brought to our attention by local residents at the PACT meetings.

Thornes Road – 2 speeders. Both exceeding the 30mph speed limit and both have been reported for the offence
Lennox Drive –  zero speeders on this occasion but a great chance for officers to speak to local residents about local issues. 

Similar speed operations will be carried out in the near future at these and other locations in the area. 

Whilst on patrol the officers also issued 3 eScooter warnings to riders who were using their scooters illegally on a public highway.

And finally, the PCSOs located a male in Lupset who they knew to be WANTED, he was detained until NPT PCs attended and arrested him.
